Legal Services

Description: PGCSC provides legal assistance to Pinal, Gila, Mohave, LaPaz and Yuma county residents. The service includes consultation, assistance and advocacy on simple wills, Advance Directives, Power of Attorney, consumer disputes, small claims instructions, landlord/tenant disputes, Beneficiary Deeds, Affidavits of Entitlements, legal information and referrals, Income-only Trusts and legal advocacy. PGCSC staff visit senior centers on designated dates.

Eligibility for PGCSC-Funded Service: To be eligible, you must be at least 60 years old.

Cost: Donations are greatly encouraged, needed, and appreciated.

Availability:
In Pinal and Gila counties- Available in Pinal and Gila counties. Staff are available at designated times at the following senior centers: Apache Junction Senior Center, Casa Grande - Dorothy Powell Senior Center, Hayden Senior Center, Globe Senior Center, Payson Senior Center, Superior Senior Center, and Florence Resource Center.  (Please see the PGCSC Calendar of Events for more information on dates and times)

In Western Arizona – Available in Yuma, LaPaz and Mohave Counties. Staff are available at designated times at the following senior centers: Yuma Senior Nutrition Center, Somerton Senior Nutrition Center, and San Luis Senior Nutrition Center.
