Help for Older Adults Caring for Children

PGCSC offers many services to help grandparents or other older adults caring for children. Some are listed below.

  1. Behavioral health services provided by PGCSC include GateOpeners, prevention services and early intervention, counseling, and information for seniors, caregivers, and other family members. Click here for more Counseling and Support information.

  2. Support groups provide information and emotional support for seniors, their family and/or their caregivers. Click here for more Support Groups information.

Eligibility: For some services, you must be an adult relative aged 60 or over who:

  • lives with a child not more than 18 years of age, and
  • is the primary caregiver of the child.
