Help for Caregivers of an Older Adult
PGCSC offers many services to help caregivers of older adults. Some are listed below.
- In-Home Respite Care to temporarily relieve caregivers from their caregiving responsibilities. Available in Pinal and Gila counties.
- Adult Day Respite and Day Health Care Centers provide supervised meals and activities for impaired adults. Adult day care centers may also provide health monitoring. For more information, click here.
- Behavioral health services provided by PGCSC include GateOpeners, prevention services and early intervention, counseling, and information for seniors, caregivers, and other family members. Click here for more Counseling and Support information.
- Support Groups provide information and emotional support for seniors, their family and/or their caregivers. Click here for more Support Groups information.

Eligibility: For some services, you must be an adult who provides informal in-home care to an older adult.
