PGCSC's Older Worker Program

 

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

The Title V program, authorized under the Older Americans Act, provides subsidized, part-time community service training opportunities to eligible low-income persons age 55 and over.  Training compensation = $6.75 per hour.

Basic Requirements:

55 years or older (priority given to those 60 and over)

Family income cannot exceed 125% of Federal Poverty Level

Volunteer Opportunities at PGCSC 

There are many ways for volunteers to help older adults.  Openings for individuals seeking to contribute time and skills are an essential part of the PGCSC service delivery system.  Volunteers have an opportunity to put their talents to work through any of the programs provided by PGCSC, as well as at the local senior centers and at the adult day respite program.  Below is a listing of these opportunities, click on any one to learn more about it:
